Karnala Fort Trek
 
Nestled inside the Karnala Bird Sanctuary, the Karnala Fort Trek is a short but adventurous climb to 1,545 ft. The trail passes through vibrant forests, alive with the calls of over 200 bird species, making it a treat for bird watchers and nature enthusiasts alike. The fort, though in ruins, carries stories of its time under the Yadavas and the Marathas.
 
This trek is moderate in difficulty and can be done year-round, though winter and monsoon bring the best experience. At the summit, trekkers are rewarded with sweeping views of the Mumbai and Raigad regions.
